Preparation steps

Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Slowly add the sugar and continue beating until stiff and glossy.

Fold in the coconut and orange zest.

Preheat the oven to 160°C (approximately 325°F). Spoon the mixture into cherry-sized mounds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes, until light golden. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
