- 4 cups lean Ground beef
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper

- 4 Bread roll
- Lettuce
- 1 Tomato (sliced)
- 1 small Red onion (sliced)

Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 220°C (200° fan) 425°F gas 7. Spray a baking tray with oil.

Put the beef into a bowl and season generously with salt and pepper. Mix with your hands until combined.

Divide into 4 portions and shape into patties. Place on the baking tray, make a thumbprint in each, and bake for 10-15 minutes until cooked to your liking.

Preheat the grill to hot.
5.
Cut the rolls in half and grill until golden and toasted.
6.
Place on serving plates and top with lettuce. Put the patties on top and top with tomato slices and onions.
