500 milliliters water
½ tsp salt
300 grams Pastry flour
olive oil (for frying)

Preparation steps

1.

Boil the water with the salt. Remove the pan from the heat and sift in the flour. Process with the dough hook of a hand mixer until a thick dough has arisen. It should easily detach from the sides of the bowl. Leave to rest for 10 minutes.

Heat the olive oil in a pot.

Spoon the dough into a piping bag with a large, star tip nozzle and pipe out, in portions, into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, remove from the fat and drain on paper towels.

3.

Serve the churros dusted with powdered sugar.
