Ingredients

For the plum and oatmeal puree
½ cup rolled oats
1 Plum (pitted and chopped)
cup hot water
For the banana and oatmeal puree
½ cup rolled oats
1 small, ripe Banana (chopped)
cup hot water
For the apple, banana, and barley puree
2 Tbsps Barley flake
½ Gala Apple (peeled, cored and diced)
½ small, ripe Banana (chopped)
cup hot water

Preparation steps

1.
For each puree, grind the oats or barley flakes in an electric grinder to a fine powder. Put in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients and puree using a hand blender or mash with a fork.
2.
Scrape into a saucepan and cook over a low heat, stirring frequently, for 3 - 4 minutes. Add more water if necessary. Stir in a little formula or breast milk for a creamier consistency.
3.
Serve lukewarm or chill until needed.
