- For the plum and oatmeal puree
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 Plum (pitted and chopped)
- ⅔ cup hot water
- For the banana and oatmeal puree
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 small, ripe Banana (chopped)
- ⅔ cup hot water
- For the apple, banana, and barley puree
- 2 Tbsps Barley flake
- ½ Gala Apple (peeled, cored and diced)
- ½ small, ripe Banana (chopped)
- ⅔ cup hot water
Preparation steps
1.
For each puree, grind the oats or barley flakes in an electric grinder to a fine powder. Put in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients and puree using a hand blender or mash with a fork.

Scrape into a saucepan and cook over a low heat, stirring frequently, for 3 - 4 minutes. Add more water if necessary. Stir in a little formula or breast milk for a creamier consistency.
3.
Serve lukewarm or chill until needed.
