400 grams white bread (day-old)
2 garlic cloves
2 eggs
2 Tbsps freshly chopped parsley
salt

Preparation steps

Coarsely chop bread and soak for about 15 minutes in some water. Bread should be soft but not too mushy. Peel garlic and chop finely. Mix eggs and parsley and add to bread. Stir with a fork until a workable dough has formed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place oil in a hot pan and using a tablespoon add in small portions of dough. Press flat and fry until golden brown on each side for 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towel. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
