Ingredients
2 Tbsps butter
2 Tbsps Pastry flour
400 milliliters Beef broth
100 milliliters Whipped cream
100 grams grated Mountain cheese
salt
peppers (freshly ground)
Nutmeg (freshly grated)
600 grams Cauliflower
3 Bell pepper (red, yellow and green)
400 grams waxy potatoes
100 grams Bacon

Preparation steps

1.

Melt the butter in a saucepan with the flower. Mix in the broth and the cream, stirring constantly. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat, stir in the cheese, and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

2.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

3.

Rinse and drain the cauliflower. Rinse, trim, and slice the peppers into strips. Peel the motators and cut into 3-4 mm (approximately 1/10 of an inch) slices. Cut the bacon into strips. Layer the potatoes, pepper, and cauliflower in a casserole dish. Make sure that the pieces are overlapping on every layer. Add the bacon on top, then pour the sauce over everything.

4.

Bake in the oven 40 minutes, until golden brown.
