Caramel Mascarpone with Candied Fruit and Walnuts
Caramelize sugar in a saucepan until golden brown. Deglaze with Marsala and boil until a caramel forms. Let cool.
Mix mascarpone with vanilla sugar and caramel and chill for 2-3 hours. Chop candied fruits and walnuts. Stir 2/3 of mixture with chocolate shavings. Place atop mascarpone and serve sprinkled with the remaining candied fruits and walnuts.
