- 3 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 small onion (peeled and chopped)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (peeled and chopped)
- 4 rashers Bacon (chopped)
- 1 small Red pepper (deseeded and cut into strips)
- 1 small Savoy cabbage (chopped)
- 2 medium potatoes (peeled and chopped)
- 4 cups ham stock (or water)
- 2 Tbsps Chili sauce
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oil in a wide pan and gently cook the onions until translucent.

Turn up the heat, add the garlic, bacon and red peppers and fry for 2 minutes.
3.
Stir in the cabbage and potatoes, add the stock or water, bring to a boil then simmer gently until the potatoes are tender.
4.
Season with salt and pepper and serve with chilli sauce spooned over to taste.
