- 600 grams Green cabbage
- 1 large onion
- 50 grams Bacon
- 3 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 l Vegetable broth
- 20 grams Pastry flour
- 2 Tbsps Tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp sweet ground paprika
- 100 milliliters white wine
- salt
- Caraway
- 2 garlic cloves
- freshly ground pepper
- To garnish
- 200 grams Sour cream
- scallions

Preparation steps
1.
Peel the onion, cut in half and finely dice.

Cut the bacon into very small cubes; fry briefly in oil. Add the onion and cook until glassy. Stir in the paprika and tomato paste, then pour in the broth.

Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage, cut the head into quarters lengthwise, then cut crosswise into thin strips and place in the prepared broth. Add all of spices and simmer for 25-30 minutes. Stir the white wine with the flour until smooth, then whisk quickly into the soup. Boil briefly and season with salt and pepper. Garnish the finished soup in a bowl with sour cream and scallions.
