- Ingredients
- 4 large Endive
- 1 Orange
- 4 tsps Maple syrup
- Salt freshly ground pepper
- 4 Bacon
Preparation steps
1.
Preheat oven to 200°C (E), stage 3-4 (G) or 180 degrees (U) (approximately 400°F). Rinse and halve endives. Cut out wedge-shaped core, leaving endives intact.
2.
Rinse orange and remove half of the zest in thin strips (avoiding white pith). Squeeze juice from orange and mix with maple syrup. Season with salt and pepper. Cut bacon into small pieces.
3.
Place each endive half on a piece of parchment. Drizzle with orange juice and maple syrup mixture and top with bacon. Seal parchment. Place parchment packets on a baking sheet and bake 12-15 minutes.
