- 3 cloves garlic cloves (peeled and finely chopped)
- 2 red chili peppers (rinsed; seeded and chopped)
- 6 Tbsps olive oil
- 21 ozs Beef
- 2 Red onions (peeled and quartered)
- 4 fresh, ripe Figs (rinsed and cut into wedges)
- 2 Limes (rinsed and quartered)
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper
- wooden Skewer (8-inches)

Preparation steps
1.
Combine garlic, peppers and olive oil. Rinse the beef under cold running water and pat completely dry. Using a sharp cut, cut the beef into bite-size cubes. Combine the beef and the olive oil mixture, tossing to coat and marinate for 1 hour.

Soak the wooden skewers in cold water for 30 minutes.

Preheat the grill for grilling.

Thread the beef, onions, figs and limes onto the prepared skewers. Grill for about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper. Divide between plates and serve with mixed green salad, if desired.
