For the roast
1 kilogram Fresh ham roast (cured)
3 Tbsps honey
3 Tbsps lemon juice
½ tsp ground ginger
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
200 milliliters Beef stock

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Rinse ham, pat dry and tie if needed. To make glaze: In a bowl, stir together honey, lemon juice, ginger and cayenne pepper. In a roasting pan, heat oil and brown ham on all sides. Add stock. Brush ham with some of the glaze.

Bake ham about 90 minutes. Brush ham with glaze periodically. Remove ham from roasting pan. Cut ham into thin slices and serve on a wooden board.
