The baked banana makes you fit! Because the fine tropical fruit provides a mix of the minerals magnesium, phosphorus and potassium, which can act as nerve food and help in stressful situations.
Freshly baked bananas taste best of course! And they are also a great addition to convivial barbecue evenings in summer, as they can be easily prepared on the barbecue.
Melt butter and honey in a small pot and allow to cool. Mix in the lemon juice. Rinse the lemon, shake dry and finely chop. Stir in the butter-honey mixture. Peel the banana lengthwise around and carve so that half of the peel can be pulled off.
Place the bananas on a lined baking sheet with foil, brush with butter and honey mixture, sprinkle with coconut flakes and bake in a preheated oven (200°C) (approximately 400°F) for about 5 minutes.
