For the burgers
18 ozs ground lamb
1 egg (beaten)
3 cloves garlic cloves (crushed)
½ unwaxed Lime (finely grated zest and juice)
4 scallions (finely chopped)
1 red chili pepper (seeds removed and finely chopped)
2 Tbsps finely chopped cilantro
3 tsps freshly grated ginger
½ cup breadcrumbs
salt

2 Tbsps sunflower oil
For the peanut sauce
3 Tbsps Peanut butter
1 Tbsp Rice vinegar
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp water
1 clove garlic cloves
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp Chili sauce
1 tsp honey
¼ tsp ground ginger
To serve
4 sesame Burger buns
Lettuce

Kitchen utensils

1 Kitchen shears, 1 Blender oder hohes Gefäß, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Plate, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Ice Crusher, 1 gegebenenfalls Immersion blender

Preparation steps

For the burgers: put all the burger ingredients except the oil into a bowl and season with salt and pepper.

Mix well and shape into 4-6 patties.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the burgers on both sides over a high heat until browned, then reduce the heat and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through.

For the peanut sauce: combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.

Heat the grill

Split the buns in half and toast them.

Arrange the lettuce leaves on the base of the buns and place a burger on top of each. Spoon over the peanut sauce.
