2 Filo dough (about 30 x 30 cm)
400 grams Feta (feta)
1 handful parsley
1 sprig thyme
freshly ground peppers
½ tsp hot ground paprika
1 egg white
vegetable oil (to fry)

Preparation steps

1.

Spread the filo dough and cut into 12-16 triangles.

For the filling, mash the feta cheese with a fork in a bowl. Rinse the herbs, shake dry, pluck off the leaves and chop finely. Mix the feta with herbs, season with pepper and paprika, and mix well together.

Place the triangles of dough so that the tip points upwards. Place 1-2 tablespoons of the filling over the lower quarter of the dough triangle and turn the opposite side to the middle. Then roll the dough towards the center. Brush the tip of the triangles with egg white and completely roll up the filo dough.

3.

Heat plenty oil in a pan and fry the dough rolls in portions until golden brown for 4-5 minutes while turning. Remove, drain on kitchen paper, and serve.
