Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and peel the asparagus, then trim off the woody ends. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, and add the juice of half a lemon. Add the asparagus to the water and cook for 12 minutes.

Rinse and dry the herbs. Remove the leaves from the stems, then finely chop. Mix with the olive oil, remaining lemon juice, and the zest from half of a lemon. Mix until smooth, then season to taste with salt and pepper. 

3.

Drain the asparagus and arrange on plates. Drizzle with the herb sauce and serve.
