Preparation steps

Rinse and dry the tomatoes. Pierce each tomato several times with a wooden skewer. Place the tomatoes into clean jars. Peel and thinly slice the shallots. Bring rhe shallots, vinegar, water, salt, sugar, clove, peppercorns, and mustard seeds to a boil.

Remove from the heat and add the pickling mix. Pour the hot liquid over the tomatoes. Seal the jars tightly, let cool, and store in a cool place.
