- 2 Red Bell pepper
- 400 grams small, cooked potatoes
- 2 Zucchini
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 8 Hot dogs
- 400 grams Kidney beans (Canned)
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsps ground paprika (Sweet)
- 250 milliliters Beef broth
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- Freshly ground peppers
- 250 grams Puff pastry dough
- 1 egg yolk
Preparation steps
Rinse bell peppers, cut in half, clean and cut into pieces. Scrub potatoes, peel and cut into pieces. Rinse zucchini, cut in half lengthwise and cut into slices. Peel onions and garlic. Chop onions coarsely. Chop garlic finely. Cut sausage into slices. Drain kidney beans.
Preheat oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).
Sauté vegetables in a hot pan with oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Sauté sausages and add paprika. Pour in broth. Add drained beans and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour vegetable mixture into baking dish. Spread out puff pastry and cut to a size slightly larger than the baking dish. Place on dish and prick with a fork. Brush with beaten egg yolk. Use remaining pastry to create decorations and place on top. Brush with egg yolk. Bake about 25 minutes in the oven until golden brown and serve.
