Vanilla Creme Patissiere
Slit vanilla pods, scrape out seeds and place into a pot. Add milk adn bring to a boil, remove from heat. Whisk sugar with egg yolks, cornstarch and quarter of vanilla milk Add to remaining milk and remove vanilla pods. Cook on low heat until thickens. Remove from heat and cool. Whip cream until stiff, add lemon zest and fold into cream.
Fill small glass bowls with vanilla cream and garnish with fresh strawberries. Serve.
