Preparation steps

1.

Remove stems from tomatoes and blanch for 30 seconds in boiling water. Remove the skins and chop. Puree the chopped tomatoes with powdered sugar and lemon juice in a blender. Freeze in a bowl for at least 3 hours. In the meantime, rinse the cherry tomatoes. Thaw briefly in the refrigerator before scraping the granita with a spoon into glasses to serve. Garnish with cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
