2 centimeters fresh ginger
2 handfuls Strawberry mint (or spearmint)
3 teabag black Tea
2 Tbsps Apple syrup
1 handful mint (or substitute peppermint)
5 centiliters brown Rum

Preparation steps

Run the lemon under hot water and cut into slices. Peel the ginger and cut into thin slices. Rinse the strawberry mint and put some leaves aside for garnish. Put the lemon slices, ginger and mint with black tea in a tall pot and pour in 1 liter of boiling water. Stir in the apple juice. Remove the tea bags after 2 minutes and chill the tea for at least 2 hours.

Rinse the mint and shake dry. After 30 minutes, add to the cold tea. Stir in the rum.

Pour the well-chilled tea through a sieve, serve with ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves.
