Tarts with Apple and Kiwi Fruit Jam
For the jam, chop walnuts and toast in a dry pan. Peel and puree the kiwis. Peel, quarter, core, and dice the apples. Toss together the kiwi puree, diced apple, toasted walnuts and lemon juice. Stir in the pectin, transfer to a pot and bring to a simmer. Continue to cook, while stirring for 4 minutes. Transfer the jam into clean jars and seal. For serving, spoon the jam into the tart shells. Serve immediately.
