Ingredients

For the herb butter
2 garlic cloves
250 grams soft butter
3 Tbsps finely chopped, mixed Fresh herbs (eg:. chives, parsley, dill ...)
2 tsps finely chopped thyme
2 Tbsps lemon juice
salt (to taste)
For the sweet potatoes
4 Sweet potato
2 tsps vegetable oil
Aluminum foil

Preparation steps

Peel garlic and pass through a garlic press. Beat the butter in a warm bowl until fluffy and mix with the garlic, herbs, lemon juice and salt. Put the butter on plastic wrap, shape into a log, wrap tightly and chill at least 2 hours in the refrigerator. Cut into slices before serving.

Scrub sweet potatoes thoroughly, coat lightly with oil, cut lengthwise and wrap tightly in 2 layers of aluminum foil. Laterally place (at the edge) of the glowing charcoal grill embers and roast for 30-45 minutes. Turn occasionally. Remove from the grill, unwrap and serve with herb butter.
