1 bunch Savory

1 Tbsp Tomato paste
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
100 milliliters Vegetable broth
50 grams Walnut (coarsely chopped)
1 Tbsp finely chopped Fresh herbs (Provence)
150 grams Crème fraiche

Preparation steps

Rinse and clean string beans. Cook with 2/3 of savory in plenty of salted water until al dente.

Rinse tomatos, blanch, skin and cut into bite-size pieces. Peel onions and chop coarsely. Peel and mince garlic. Sauté onion and garlic in vegetable oil, stir in tomato paste. Add tomatos and vegetable broth. Simmer for approximately 10 minutes. Meanwhile, mix herbs with creme fraiche and season with salt and pepper. Season tomato-onion mixture with salt and pepper as needed. Strain string beans and discard savory. Ladle the stew into small bowls, top with string beans. Garnish with remaining savory and serve immediately.
