800 grams Ground meat (pork)
1 egg yolk
1 tsp liquid honey
Cumin (ground)

1 untreated lemon (juice and zest)

Preparation steps

Rinse and halve one chile, then remove seeds and ribs and finely chop. Rinse, trim and chop scallions. Peel and finely chop onion. In a bowl, combine chile, scallions, onion, ground meat and egg yolks. Mix well. Season to taste with honey, cumin, salt, lemon juice and pepper. Form mixture into about 16 small meatballs. Roll meatballs in sesame seeds until coated. In a hot pan, fry meatballs in oil until golden-brown, 6-8 minutes. After about 4 minutes cooking time, add remaining chiles and lemon zest to the oil.

Serve meatballs with chile and lemon zest oil.
