3 red Pepperoncini
1 garlic clove
4 Tbsps olive oil

Preparation steps

Rinse, trim, and finely dice the peppers. Rinse the pepperoncinos, remove the seeds, and coarsely chop. Peel and chop the garlic.

Heat the oil in a pan. Sauté the peppers for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned. Add the pepperoncinos and garlic. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and lime juice. Add 3-4 tablespoons of the water, cover, and cook for 10 minutes until soft. Puree the sauce in the blender, then season to taste with salt and pepper. Let cool, and serve with a dish such as a grilled meat.
