Spicy Ginger Ale
Rinse the lime in hot water and peel. Cut the peel into thin spirals. Cut the ginger plums into thin slices.
Heat the white wine, but do not boil. Add the star anise, lime spirals and ginger slices. Remove from the heat and let cool.
Pour ice cubes into serving glasses. Add the white wine with the spices. Fill with chilled ginger ale. Serve immediately.
