Spiced Cheese Spread
Mash cheese with a fork. Peel onion and cut into very small cubes. Grind cumin very finely in a mortar. Combine all ingredients together until well mixed and season to taste.
In order to "mature" the spread, place covered for a few hours in the refrigerator.
Garnish as desired with herbs and serve.
This fits particularly well for dipping raw vegetables or bread.
