Preparation steps

Peel and dice onions and potatoes. Rinse and chop soup vegetables. Heat oil in a large saucepan. Add vegetables and sauté. Sprinkle vegetables with flour. Stir in tomato paste, bay leaf and hot beef broth. Rinse fish, pat dry, divide into pieces and add to the soup.

Cover and cook about 10 minutes over low heat. Dice gherkins. Rinse tomatoes and cut into eighths. Stir gherkins, tomatoes and capers into soup and cook about 1 minute. Stir in soy sauce, creme fraiche and lemon juice. Divide soup among bowls and serve sprinkled with chopped dill.
