- 400 grams Ground meat (beef)
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 green Bell pepper
- 2 Tbsps Tomato paste
- 150 milliliters Beef broth
- Caraway (ground)
- salt
- Chili powder
- freshly ground peppers
- 4 White rolls
Preparation steps

Cook the ground beef in a pan in hot oil until crumbly. Peel the onion and garlic. Halve the onion and cut into strips; chop the garlic finely. Rinse the pepper, cut in half, remove seeds and ribs and chop. Add everything to ground beef, mix together and cook until golden brown. Mix in the tomato paste and pour in the broth. Let simmer until thickish about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with caraway seeds, salt, chili powder and pepper.

Cut the bread horizontally and toast the cut surfaces as desired until golden brown. Top the undersides with meat sauce, put on the lids and serve.
