19 ounces ground Sirloin steak
¼ cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons Steak seasoning
1 medium onion (peeled and finely diced)
1 small, green Bell pepper (rinsed; trimmed and finely diced)
1 tablespoon Red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups canned Tomato sauce
2 tablespoons Tomato paste
4 sesame Burger buns (split)
Potato chip (to serve)

Preparation steps

Heat the oil a large heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef to the pan and use a wooden spoon to break up any large pieces.

In a small bowl, combine combine brown sugar and steak seasoning; add to the skillet and stir to combine. Once the beef is nicely browned, add the diced onions, peppers, red wine vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Reduce heat to medium and cook for about 5 minutes. Add the tomato sauce and paste to the skillet; stir to blend. Reduce heat to low and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Spoon a generous scoop of the beef mixture on each bun bottom and cover with bun tops. Serve with potato chips.
