For the tuna
1 Tbsp olive oil
4 Tuna steak
Sea salt
freshly ground peppers
For the fennel and pistachio salad
3 Fennel bulb (very thinly sliced crosswise)
½ cup roughly chopped Pistachio
3 Tbsps extra virgin olive oil
2 Tbsps lemon juice
2 tsps finely grated lemon zest
Sea salt

To garnish
red thyme
Watercress

1 Cutting board, 1 Aluminum foil, 1 Small knife, 1 Garlic press, 1 Bowl, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Whisk, 3 Small bowls, 1 Peeler, 1 Large knife, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Baking sheet

Preparation steps

For the tuna: heat the oil in a frying pan. Season the tuna steaks with salt and pepper.

Cook the tuna for 2-4 minutes on each side until cooked to your liking.

For the fennel and pistachio salad: combine all ingredients in a bowl and toss until the fennel is coated. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.

Place the tuna on warm serving plates and spoon the salad on top.
5.
Garnish with red thyme and watercress.
