- 18 ozs fresh Tuna
- 3 Tbsps sesame oil
- To serve
- Pickled ginger
- Wasabi paste
- soy sauce

Preparation steps
1.
Cut the tuna into 4 equal sized pieces. Season with salt. Heat the oil in a frying pan and sear the tuna on all sides - it should be a light golden brown on the outside but remain raw in the centre. Remove from the pan after around 1 minute.
2.
Cut into cubes and serve, on a serving plate or as individual portions. Serve with pickled ginger, wasabi and soy sauce for dipping.
