1 bunch Sage
5 Tbsps Vegetable broth (jarred)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the potatoes. Peel the shallots and cut into eighths. Heat the butter and olive oil in a roasting pan, and sauté the shallots, potatoes, and garlic (with the skin on). Season to taste with salt and pepper.

2.

Rinse the sage, remove the leaves from the stems, and coarsely chop. Mix the sage into the potato mixture.

3.

Add the broth, cover, and cook over low heat for 40 minutes. Shake the pan several times throughout cooking, so that the potatoes cook evenly.
