1 smaller Suckling pig ham (without rind (about 2 kg (4 lbs))
1 onion
1 bay leaf
1 tsp peppercorns
2 Juniper berries
4 cloves
white wine (to brush)

Preparation steps

1.

Place ham in a pot. Add cold water to a depth equal to 2 fingers. Chop onion and add to the pot with bay leaf, peppercorns, cloves and juniper berries. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 1 hour.

Remove ham from pot and place in a baking dish. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 60 minutes. Repeatedly brush with wine during baking.

3.

Serve garnished with grapes.
