Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Rinse, trim, and cut the rhubarb into 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) pieces. Rinse, quarter, remove the core, and dice the apples. Mix the fruit with the vanilla sugar and divide the mixture into 4 ovenproof bowls. Mix the flour with the almond, sugar, and butter. Sprinkle over the fruit.

Bake in the oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
