- ½ cup raisins (if desired)
- ⅓ cup Pumpkin seed
- 2 ½ cups rolled oats
- 1 cup coarse Oats
- 1 cup coarse Spelt flakes
- 1 cup brown sugar (scant)
- ¼ cup sugar beet syrup
- 1 ½ cups butter

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160°C in a fan oven), 375°F, gas 5.
2.
Mix together the raisins, pumpkin seeds, oats, spelt flakes and the sugar. Heat the sugar beet syrup and the butter gently in a pot and stir in the dry ingredients.
3.
Spread the mixture out approx. 1 cm thick on a baking tray lined with grease-proof paper.
4.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cut into bars approx. 2 x 10 cm and leave to cool on a wire rack.
