- garlic cloves (about 2-3, to taste)
- 2 Red chili peppers
- Sage
- 1 bay leaf
- 200 milliliters olive oil
- salt
- peppers

Preparation steps
1.
Soak beans overnight. Rinse beans and drain in a colander. Place beans and olive oil in a clean glass jar. Cover beans with at least 2 inches of water. Peel garlic. Rinse chile peppers and leave whole. Rinse sage leaves and shake dry. Add prepared ingredients and bay leaf to jar. Season with salt and pepper. Close jar and shake well. To preserve the beans for longer, you will need to use a pressure canner and process jars according to manufacturer's instructions, or visit http://nchfp.uga.edu/.
