- 1 kilogram starchy potatoes
- 1 small onion
- 3 eggs
- 5 Tbsps Pastry flour
- freshly ground peppers
- 125 milliliters vegetable oil (for frying)
Rinse potatoes, peel, grate and drain in a sieve. Peel and mince onion.
Combine potatoes, onion, eggs and flour. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Heat some oil in a pan and add potato mixture, a tablespoon at a time. Flatten and cook on both sides until golden brown. Add more oil if necessary. Keep warm in a preheated oven at 80-100°C (approximately 200°F). Serve immediately.
