1 kilogram potatoes
500 milliliters Whipped cream
1 garlic clove
2 Tbsps Crème fraiche
salt

freshly grated Nutmeg
100 grams grated Cheese (such as Gruyère, Emmentaler)

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the garlic and rub on the baking dish.

Rinse the potatoes, peel and cut into very thin slices. Layer the potato slices in the baking dish. Mix the cream, cheese and creme fraiche. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour the sauce over the potatoes, until the potatoes are barely covered.

3.

Bake for 40-50 minutes at 180°C (approximately 350°F), until golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
