Preparation steps

Peel the potatoes and cut crosswise into slices. Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and brown the potato slices. Drain on paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

Drain the mozzarella and cut into slices. Rinse the tomatoes and cut into slices. Fry the bacon until crispy in a pan without adding extra oil.

Arrange the potato slices, mozzarella, and tomatoes on plates and season with salt, pepper, and oregano. Place 2 bacon slices on top and sprinkle with basil leaves. Serve immediately. If desired, sprinkle the plate with 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil.
