600 grams predominantly waxy potatoes
1 stalk Leeks
400 grams smoked Smoked pork chop (boneless)
50 grams Walnut
butter (for the pan)
2 Apple
3 eggs
200 milliliters milk
200 milliliters Whipped cream
70 grams freshly grated Gruyere
salt
freshly ground peppers
Nutmeg
1 Tbsp freshly chopped parsley
1 tsp dried marjoram
fresh parsley (for garnishing)

Preparation steps

1.

Peel and rinse potatoes, cook in salted water for about 20 minutes, drain and cool. Rinse and dice leek. Slice smoked pork and chop. Toast nuts in a dry pan until fragrant, remove from the pan and cool.

Butter large baking pan. Slice potatoes. Rinse and dry apples, quarter and core, cut into slices. Layer potatoes, leek, smoked pork and apples in the pan. Whisk eggs with milk, cream and cheese and season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, parsley and marjoram.

3.

Pour egg mixture over casserole and sprinkle with nuts. Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 35-40 minutes. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
