½ Tbsp salt
5 fresh, red chili peppers
250 milliliters White vinegar
60 grams sugar
3 Tbsps fresh parsley (finely chopped)

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the garlic. Bring 1 liter (approximately 1 quart) of water and the salt to a boil. Add the garlic and cook for 5 minutes. Remove the garlic from the water and drain thoroughly. Place the garlic, rinsed chilis, and parsley in a large jar. 

2.

Bring the vinegar, 125 ml (approximately 4 ounces) of water, and the sugar to a boil. Pour the hot liquid over the garlic, and seal the jar tightly.
