4 Bell pepper (yellow and green)
350 grams mixed Ground meat
50 grams parboiled Long grain rice
2 onions
100 grams smoked Bacon
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
salt (pepper)
½ bunch parsley
1 egg
1 can chopped Tomatoes
200 milliliters Broth
1 Tbsp Tomato paste

Preparation steps

Chop bacon finely. Heat oil in a pan and cook bacon briefly. Peel onions, chop and add to bacon, saute until onions are soft. Add ground meat and saute until meat is crumbly. Rinse and shake dry parsley, pluck off leaves and chop finely. Add to meat, season with salt and pepper. Add rice and an egg, mix well. Set aside. Rinse bell peppers and cut off lids. Remove seeds and ribs and stuff with meat mixture. Replace lids and arrange peppers in a pot. Add broth, tomato paste and chopped tomatoes to the pot.

Cover pot with lid and  bake pappers in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Remove from oven and serve.
