2 onions
2 garlic cloves
2 Tbsps olive oil
1 sm can peeled Tomatoes (canned)
50 grams pitted Olives (black)
2 scallions
2 Tbsps Tomato paste
salt

Preparation steps

For the tomato sauce, peel the onions, chop finely and fry in olive oil. Peel garlic cloves, squeeze and add to the onions. Coarsely chop olives.

2.

Stir in tomatoes and tomato paste and simmer over low heat while stirring until a thickish sauce has formed. Rinse scallions, trim, slice into rings and add to sauce with the olives. Briefly heat sauce. For the penne, cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and serve with the sauce.
