Preparation steps

1.

Boil penne in salted water until al dente.

Rinse tomatoes, quarter, core and remove seeds, dice. Rinse broccoli and blanch for 5-7 minutes in boiling salted water. Rinse with cold water and drain well. Rinse basil, shake dry, pluck off leaves and cut into fine strips. Slice sausages. Peel and mince shallot and garlic.

Heat oil in a pan and cook sausage. Add garlic, shallots and pine nuts and cook for 2-3 minutes. Toss in tomatoes, broccoli, basil and drained penne. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
