Preparation steps

Fill a pot with water, season with salt and add some olive oil. Bring to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente.

Rinse the broccoli and divide into florets. Blanch in a pot of boiling salted water until tender. Drain, rinse with cold water and drain again. Peel and chop the onion. Cut the sausages into 1 cm (approximately 1/4 inch) thick pieces. Heat some olive oil in a large skillet. Add the onions and cook until translucent. Add the broccoli and sausage, and cook briefly. Drain the pasta, add to the skillet and toss until thoroughly combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve garnished with cheese.
