- 750 grams ripe Tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 garlic clove
- 50 grams Bacon
- 4 Tbsps olive oil
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 500 grams Spiral pasta
- 1 bunch Chives

Preparation steps
1.
Cut the tomatoes crosswise, blanch for 1 minute in boiling water and rinse with cold water. Peel and quarter the tomatoes and remove the seeds. Peel and dice onions and garlic. Cube the bacon.

Heat olive oil in a large non-stick pan and fry the bacon. Add onions and garlic and sautée. Add tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
3.
Cook spiral pasta in plenty of boiling salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Rinse chives, cut, shake dry and cut into rings. Drain the pasta and mix with the tomato-bacon mixture. Serve sprinkled with chives.
