Nutritional values

Parmesan thyme popcorn is not only a great snack for gourmets, but also provides B vitamins and fiber, among other things. Vitamin B6 in the corn kernel promotes the formation of dopamine and sertotonin and the contained vitaminB2 makes the mucous membranes strong. Last but not least, the body forms from fiber, among other things, the food for our intestinal bacteria that take care of digestion and well-being. Parmesan thyme popcorn is a smart snack all around.

A different take on popcorn? The puffed corn is also an excellent extra crunch for main dishes. For example, our parmesan-thyme popcorn goes great with soups or salads. So you can create an extraordinary dish with little effort.

Preparation steps

1.

Peel garlic cloves and flatten on a board. Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat. Add corn kernels and garlic cloves and briefly spread as evenly as possible on bottom with wooden spoon. As soon as the first kernel pops, cover the pot and move it occasionally until no more popping sounds are heard. The whole process takes about 5 minutes.

2.

Meanwhile, grate the Parmesan cheese. Wash the herbs, shake dry and chop finely. Mix the ingredients together.

3.

Put the finished popcorn in a bowl and sprinkle with the parmesan and herb mixture while it is still warm. Mix everything well and enjoy!
