Preparation steps

Peel oranges with a sharp knife, carefully removing the white pith. Cut the orange into slices, removing seeds where appropriate.

Roll the pomegranate under a flat hand with slight pressure on a work surface. Trim the top and bottom, and pull open vertically over a sheet of parchment paper. Scrape the seeds out with a spoon. Mix together the honey, lemon juice, and rum. Toss the orange slices and pomegranate seeds in the honey mixture. Serve in bowls garnished with mint.
